Liberation of the Demons Church (KFCA)

This is my Keyframe concept for a game called Bloodyshot that I am working on with some friends. Exploring the world has been a blast so far and I took the opportunity to turn a school assignment into a piece for this world. Here I wanted to convey a couple of elements such as the red sun and the danger of the world so I chose a darker and more saturated color palate. The demons were really fun to design too as I am playing with shapes and contortions of anatomy. I hope I can continue to visit the world and flesh out events and stories that are being told.

The final render! Seeing the piece come together is always so cool.

The value render. I initially didn't plan on adding the people into the scene for time's sake, but they helped sell the story too much to omit.

The preliminary sketch. I always love how demons look in sketches because I can make them look so wild.

4 Color studies. I had trouble deciding between the red analgous (top right) or complimentary (bot left) schemes because I loved the drama they sold, but ultimately went with the top right for the more coherent theming.

I got bored of the simpler window designs and moved to more irregular and illustrative designs that would allow for stained glass designs. These patterns were inspired by churches like La Sagrada Familia.
